Weekends at the Jones'

We have gone out to my parents' house several
times the past few months on the weekends.
This post is just random pictures from those visits.

We went to Home Depot to get a few things for the
bathroom, and Jo saw this and wanted to try it out!

She started to enjoy spending time with grandma
more on this particular trip, YEA!

Looking through the magnifying glass.

She discovered sock puppets on this trip, I
will try to put up a video. It's really funny,
when they talk all they say is nanananana.
playing the piano!

Trip to Sea World

We got back from Utah Thursday evening, and Friday Josh came to pick us up and take us to San Antonio, where we spent the weekend with his family. It was a really cool experience, and we had a great time.

We went and saw the clydesdales at the end of the day, and this one licked Josalyn's face

Jo loved watching the seals swimming around, here she is waving to one of them.

Here we are feeding the Dolphins, I am petting one here! Slimy.

We went swimming Friday night, it was very cold. This is

none of us really wanted to get in, except R. Dee. Brrrr!

This was just after watching the Seal show, it was
pretty funny, the dolphin one was really awesome too,
but I didn't get any pics from that one.

I was able to go on a kiddie ride, they are worse than you
might think.
Shamu show, I wanted to get wet and they promised that
if you sat in the splash zone you would get soaked, not just wet.
We sat in the 9th or 10th row (only halfway up the splash zone)
and I didn't get a single drop. It was sad. The show was cool though.
Waiting for Shamu.

walking around, it was a pretty hot day.

Trip to Utah

So after going to Colorado, we hopped over to Utah. There we visited wth lots of family and went to Seths' graduation! The pictures are backwards chronalogically, but I can do more updates if I don't fix them, sorry.

Here is Jo goofing of on the porch dad made for grandma.

Here is Mom, Grandma, and Dad-also on the porch.

Here is Jo in my heels.

"I looked out the window and what did I see?...
Popcorn popping on Grandmas' apricot tree!"
Jo with the tree, it was so pretty.

Jo and Grandma chillin' on Sunday after church.
Four generation picture, I was always jealous of Donnette
because she had one of these from when she was a baby.

Seth and Brette. They are so cute!!!!

"The Look"

Jo has been working on "the look" the past few days. She is getting it down really well, and by the time she is a mom people will literally drop dead when she gives it to them. Sometimes when she does it on her own without us prompting her, it scares me and I fear for my life for a second till I remember it is just my baby. It really is that good already, I think it's better than mine. (Sorry the picture is sideways) The video was taken after several minutes of doing that so she wasn't doing quite as well because it was getting old, and she knew she was funny, but it is still cute.

Trip to Colorado

My parents are great and amazing, and extremely wonderful. They were kind enough to take Jo and me out to Colorado and Utah with them for two weeks. While it was a little challenging at times having Jo and no Josh, it was overall a really great trip. It was really nice to see grandma, Seth and Brette, and Stephen and Jaymi, along with lots of other extended family, many of whom were kind enough to put us up, and put up with us for a few days.
When we arrived in Colorado it was snowing, and by the next afternoon there was 25 inches of snow on the ground. It was AMAZING!!!! It made my life. Oh, and the pictures are all mixed up because it is a pain trying to fix them.

Easter Weekend

Jo absolutely LOVED hunting for Easter eggs, so we did it several times that weekend. This was the Saturday afternoon before easter, Calli went looking for them with her so she wouldn't be looking by herself.

This is her really excited "oooo... there's another egg!" look.
(sorry Calli, didn't intend to slice off half your head.)

Dumping the eggs out on the lawn.

Yea! Calli found one!

ooops Jo saw her going for it!

That's okay, she can just take Callis basket ; )

Haha they are all mine! Don't even think about trying to take them!
(Actually she is very good about sharing that is just what the picture looks like)
