hair cont...

Ok, so here is her hair curly so you can see the difference.

This one should be on the previous post, but oh, well. We are going to show this one to all her dates.

Mommy! What happened to my hair!

I got bored this morning, and Jo wanted me to do something with her hair so I thought we would try to straighten it. I did my best using a curling iron and trying to not burn an extremely wiggly two year old. (We were successful in that area, thankfully) It didn't come out completely straight, and definitely had volume, but you can get see that her hair is alot longer than it looks when it's curly (I will have to get a picture of it when it's completely curly to put up.) when it's wet it is almost halfway down her back. It almost immediately started curling up again but stayed fairly straight for a while.

This side was the hardest to get straight.

She isn't used to having her bangs in her eyes and was getting frustrated because she was continually having to brush it out of her face to see.

This one is just cute.

You can see it is fairly long in the back.
AAAAAH!

Cutie Pie!

Grandad

My dad came out (with my mom) for the day last Saturday to visit us. He really made Jo's day by playing with her, and I'm pretty sure he enjoyed seeing his little redheaded grandson too!

Here are some pictures of william as well. I can't help myself.
Sweet sleepy baby!

If you look just above his wrist you can see an imprint of his ear from sleeping on his arm. Hehe.

I surrender!

Prayer time!
Big stretch! His cheeks are so chubby in this one!

Big Sister Jo

Jo just loves her baby brother, especially when she gets to hold him and play with him. They are so cute! I can't believe we have two kids. : )

Little Scooter

Aparently my kiddos like to start moving right away. Jo did the same thing when she was only a week or two, except William digs his feet into the ground a little more. William has VERY strong little legs.

Smith's Visit

Wednesday after William was born, the Smith's came to visit.
Here is Grandpa with William
Jo had lots of fun playing with R.Dee while they were here.

William giving grandma big hugs.

All the excitement wore the kids out pretty well!

Grandma and Grandpa brought playdough for the kiddos, and Jo fell in love. (Grandpa and R.Dee made these not her)

Yes, it is sideways but I'm not going to fix it. Sorry.

William Ezra Smith

On Sunday, June 6th at 8:55 we were blessed with a new little baby boy, William. He was 9 lbs 12 oz, and 21 inches long, a big healthy boy! Here are a few pictures from the hospital.
Mommy and William:

Gran came and watched Jo while we were in the hospital, but she did come up a few times to see her new grandson! (He has dark red hair, you can kind of tell in this picture)

Big sister Jo holding her baby brother for the first time, she was so excited to see him!

I love this picture because you can get a small glimpse of just how excited Jo is to be able to see her baby brother!

Daddy rocking his little boy to sleep.

Last but not least-the whole family!

Easter weekend

Playing at the Primary Easter activity.
Dancing with Daddy.

We went out to the Jones's for Easter weekend. Jo loves to sit outside and swing with Gran and Papa.
Looking for Easter eggs in the backyard, I think she missed looking with Calli this year, but she still had lots of fun.

Dyeing eggs

Here she is with the eggs she colored and decorated, she was so pleased with herself.

Smith visit

Grandma and Grandpa Smith came for a weekend visit just after Easter! Jo was super excited to see them again.
She really warmed up to Grandma right away and had lots of fun with her.

Grandma got a "pretty princess dress" for Jo to wear at Daniel and Missy's wedding reception. We tried it on her to see how it fit and Jo fell in love, especially when she noticed how well it spun!

Reading stories with Grandma.
Grandpa brought out a headboard and a couple nightstands for Josh and me. (they are super nice!) and Jo had fun playing around in the nightstands before they got put in the room. Grandpa also helped fix a few chairs that were broken and Jo is still going around telling everyone who comes over that Grandpa fixed this or that, and he is good at fixing things.

Josh really wanted to go to this big park that's pretty close to our house but we've never actually been to, and decided we should go while his parents were here. It looked like they had alot of fun!
